Meet Joe - Your Technical Life Line

My journey in technology began at a young age when I laid hands on my first HP. After obtaining a computer science degree from Binghamton University, I dove head first into the rapidly changing world of web development. I’ve had the privilege of working on some interesting projects throughout my career: helping rebuild Marvel.com from the ground up, leading the CRM team that became a key part of the Jibe/iCIMS acquisition, co-founding a COVID-19 nonprofit that was featured in the New York Times, and even teaching full-stack development at Rutgers.

More recently at FORA, I pioneered practical AI development practices when the technology was still experimental, creating reliable workflows that became the blueprint for production AI work. I’ve also been tinkering with home automation since 2017 (because who doesn’t want to live in Disney’s “Smart House”?).

JSG Tech Check grew out of my belief that good technical help should be practical and straightforward - lessons learned from being the person writing code and the one guiding teams. After all these years, I’m still passionate about solving problems and helping people succeed!
